Formulated for coarse hair. Super strength is intended for coarse, resistant hair textures only — it is not suitable for fine or medium hair, where it can cause over-processing and breakage. If your hair is fine or medium, choose a regular or mild strength instead.

A no-lye relaxer kit from the Dark and Lovely Superior Moisture Plus range, enriched with coconut oil and shea butter. Includes a styling milk for easier blow-drying and added shine.

Important safety information

This is a chemical straightening treatment and must be used exactly as directed. Read the safety warnings and full instruction leaflet before starting.

• Carry out a patch test and a strand test before each use, following the timings in the leaflet
• Super strength is for coarse hair only — using it on finer textures risks severe breakage
• Do not use on hair previously treated with a different chemical process, including lye relaxers, perms or bleach
• Do not apply to a broken, irritated or recently scratched scalp — do not scratch or shampoo the scalp for at least 48 hours beforehand
• Wear the gloves provided and never exceed the stated processing time
• Avoid contact with the eyes. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice
• Rinse thoroughly and neutralise fully as instructed — incomplete neutralising causes severe breakage
• If burning or significant discomfort occurs during processing, rinse out immediately
• Keep out of reach of children. Not intended for use on children's hair
